Lindsey Teten

Lindsey Teten, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). Lindsey initially received her Bachelors of Art from University of Nebraska - Lincoln in 2009 and went on to earn her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2012. Driven by her desire to continue her education and recognizing the need for psychiatric care in southeast Nebraska, Lindsey went on to pursue a career as a PMHNP-BC and graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2014 with her Master of Science in Nursing. She has made it her mission to expand timely, high-quality access to mental health care to those that have made the decision to seek help.

Lindsey has served the mental health community for over 10 years in various capacities. During her undergraduate education she worked at various substance abuse/mental health facilities in Lincoln and Omaha. She began her career as a PMHNP-BC at CenterPointe in Lincoln, NE, before transitioning into private practice in 2015. She opened Arbor Psychiatric and Wellness Center in Nebraska City, NE, in December 2017 in effort to meet the growing demand for quality psychiatric care in southeast Nebraska.

Lindsey enjoys spending time with her husband, daughters and family. She calls beautiful Otoe County, NE, her home and is always looking for an opportunity to give back to the communities she serves.

Pam Bennett

Pam Bennett, LIMHP, LCSW is a licensed independent mental health practitioner (LIMHP) and licensed clinical social worker (LCSW).  Pam earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology/Sociology from Peru State College and went on to earn her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1993.

 

Pam has served the surrounding communities in a mental health capacity for more than 30 years. In addition to working with individuals, couples and groups to help improve mental health issues, Pam has taught psychology, sociology and social work classes at Peru State College for the past 20 years and continues doing so. She joined Lindsey Teten, APRN at Arbor Psychiatric & Wellness Center in February of 2018 where she continues to work with individuals, couples, and groups in helping to develop and improve all-around mental health well being. She achieves this with both in person sessions and teletherapy.

In her free time Pam enjoys all kinds of activities, but most especially spending time with friends and family. She likes to travel and also enjoys working on home improvement projects. Pam is always looking for ways to give back to her community and has spent many years in volunteer capacities.

Jessica E

Jessica Eckhardt, LIMHP, is a licensed independent mental health practitioner. Jessica received a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Legal Studies as well as a Master’s of Arts in Education Degree in Community Mental Health Counseling from Chadron State College in Chadron Nebraska.

 

She has 8 years of experience in human services and the non-profit field including crisis counseling, outpatient counseling, outreach to the homeless and working poor, and international volunteering. Jessica joined Arbor Psychiatric & Wellness Center in March of 2021 where she provides both in person sessions and teletherapy for individuals and couples.

 

On her days off, you can find Jessica enjoying a good cup of coffee while reading on her creaky porch swing. Otherwise, she’s refurbishing furniture or attempting to learn the piano. Jessica enjoys campfire breakfasts, walks down gravel roads and being competitive during family game night.

Lindsey Russell, PLMHP, MSW, is a provisionally licensed mental health practitioner. Lindsey received her Associates Degree in Human Services from Southeast Community College in 2013 and then her Bachelors Degree in Social Work from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2015 and most recently received her Masters Degree in Social Work from Western New Mexico University in the fall of 2021. 

 

Lindsey has experience working in the medical social work field, specifically working with the geriatric population and long term care. She also has worked close with victims of violent crimes and other advocacy organizations. 

 

When not at work, you can find her at her favorite coffee shop with a good true crime book or binging her favorite Netflix show. 

Melissa B

Melissa Barrett, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).  Melissa completed her Bachelors of Art in Psychology from University of Nebraska - Omaha in 2012 and went on to earn her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2014. After working as a registered nurse in various settings such as behavioral pediatrics and residential psychiatric treatment, Melissa discovered her passion to work in children and adolescent psychiatry.  Melissa went on to pursue a career as a PMHNP-BC and graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2020 with her Master of Science in Nursing.

Melissa has served the mental and behavioral health community for over 10 years in various child and adolescent settings.  During her undergraduate and graduate education, she worked in group home-style programs, outpatient behavioral pediatrics, and residential psychiatric treatment at Boys Town.  Melissa began her career as a PMHNP-BC at CHI Health Psychiatric Associates in Omaha, NE.  Melissa transitioned to private practice at Arbor Psychiatric in February 2022 after having spent time working alongside Lindsey during her graduate education and developing a love for the Nebraska City community. 

​ 

In her free time, Melissa enjoys traveling and camping with her husband and two fur-kids.  She currently calls Bellevue, NE her home, but always has an eye out to move closer to the community.
